Using the service
BarcodeDesk (https://barcodedesk.com) provides browser-based tools for generating barcodes from data you supply. The individual barcode generator is free to use, with no signup required. By using BarcodeDesk, you agree to these terms.
Your data, your responsibility
You're responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any value you encode. BarcodeDesk encodes what you give it — it does not validate that a value corresponds to a real, registered, or legitimate product, shipment, or identifier beyond the structural check-digit rules a given barcode format requires.
No official number issuance
BarcodeDesk does not issue, register, or verify official UPC, EAN, or GS1 identification numbers. If your use case requires an officially registered identifier, obtain it from GS1 or the relevant issuing organization before using it here. See the Disclaimer for more.
Acceptable use
Don't use BarcodeDesk to generate barcodes for counterfeit products, to misrepresent goods, or for any other unlawful purpose. BarcodeDesk may restrict access for use that violates these terms.
Paid plans
The One Batch and Pro plans described on the pricing section are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, once launched. Pricing and feature details are subject to change before those plans go live; the free individual generator is unaffected either way.
No warranty
BarcodeDesk is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to keep every barcode format independently verified for correctness, but we don't guarantee a generated barcode will scan reliably under every printer, scanner, paper, or ink combination — see the Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BarcodeDesk isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including losses related to a barcode that fails to scan after printing.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes, particularly as paid features launch. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
